Other ways to help
Join in to support literacy, teach children the value of philanthropy, and enjoy some healthy competition!
Bring A Book Buy A Book
Bring A Book Buy A Book (BABBAB) is an easy-to-run and simple concept that encourages reading by having students purchase one another’s gently used books for one dollar each. Proceeds go to Ethiopia Reads and help children gain access to vital education and literacy. The fundraiser is supplemented by age-appropriate curriculum, reading materials and art projects that we provide to you.
BABBAB teaches your kids about global awareness, social service and reinforces a love of reading! Best of all, it’s a really easy model to implement and run.
We will send you free information, walk with you through planning and offer any help needed. We just need you to take the first step!
Host a house party or fundraiser event
Sign up today to host a house party or fundraiser event. We will help you with planning and organization while you find a location and invite your friends and contacts. This is a great way to get new people involved and expand Ethiopia Reads grassroots network and also is crucial to raising funds to support the program work we do on the ground in Ethiopia.
